It causes conflicts with xinput which causes issues in the accessories app and the game used steam input instead of native. Shut steam input off if you have an Xbox one or elite and beyond controller. Then it's translating the right stick into mouse movement and it never feels right. It's translating analog inputs (4 of them) into keyboard digital on/off inputs.

It's not as accurate because it can't be. People want native xinput support so they don't have to use emulation like steam input or xpadder etc. Second, this isn't Reddit and gaming topics aren't necessarily bound by time. it doesn't apply to topics like this.įirst controller support is still asked for so use the biggest thread, don't create a new one.

It was the half life 2 launcher lol.Īs for your little "rule" there. Sorry friend but I was a beta tester for steam back before half life 2 was released and long before it was even a store. Time to unsub from this topic and let the people who got the internet 5 years ago have their fun lol. If they got here by searching and it bumps an important topic back up instead of creating a new topic then all the better. So steam, GeForce experience if installed, and ea's I think it depends on how the various DRM systems interact not only with each other's but also with the game itself.ĭenuvo shouldn't rob you of performing assuming your system is good enough.and don't go by a pubs suggested specs because usually that means 1080p30 at low to medium setting but since there min/rec standards they can BS you into thinking it should be maxed at 1440p60+ when that's never the case. Tell defender to ignore the game folder and also disable CFG for the games exe in defender, for some games it helps. If possible enable resizable bar with nvprofileinspector from GitHub and while you're in there disable Ansel because it waste CPU and GPU cycles even if it's just idle. I'd also run DDU or delete the Nvidia shader cache but DDU then driver install is actually faster. Clear windows temp files after updating the game but before running it too.
